peachy plush blog post

Each year, the Pantone Color Institute announces a color that will set the scene in various industries, including interior design. In 2024, that color is the one and only Peach Fuzz. This color instantly makes you think of warmth, softness, and peacefulness, which is exactly what we’re looking for.

Inspired by all the good things that Peach Fuzz brings, we’ve created a collection that gives you the same feeling but is a little more subtle – Peachy Plush. It’s warm, it’s trendy and it’s a pleasure to mix with other colors. Let’s dive right into decorating with Peachy Plush and how to make the most of this color in your home!

Experiment with different styles and amounts of wallpaper

There is so much we can do with our walls! And believe it or not, some of the easiest and most impactful wall makeovers are made with wallpaper. There are no set rules on how to use wallpaper – you can start small and create an accent wall or go all in and wallpaper the whole room. As long as you like what you see and it blends in with the rest of your interior we call it a successful makeover.

Solid color wallpaper

A solid-color wallpaper is a safe option for two main reasons:

  1. It offers a timeless and classic look that complements various design styles. Anything from modern, eclectic, or bohemian, to minimalist and Scandinavian will go together with solid colors.
  2. Solid color wallpaper creates a versatile backdrop for more eye-catching elements such as furniture, accessories, and textiles. Patterned blankets, cushion covers, or artwork will make the perfect match.

This Peach solid color wallpaper would be a great addition to any room – from your home office to your kitchen. Try it out!

Patterns

Patterned wallpaper often adds more visual interest to the space than solid colors, giving you an instant transformation. A well-chosen pattern will fill the space with character and help you showcase your unique personality. Even a few sheets of wallpaper will make a difference.

If you’d like to highlight a certain area in your room, consider creating a patterned accent wall. Accent walls are one of our favorite ways of incorporating wallpaper into the interior. Some patterns are more detailed than others, and covering all four walls with a pattern could create too much noise. However, if you decorate just one wall, it serves as the focal point and will catch your eye when you enter the room.

For example, this brush stroke arch wallpaper has a seamless pattern which creates an organized and classy look. It’s subtle, yet has enough detail to draw attention to the wall. It’s a win-win! Similarly to geometric patterns, brush strokes are timeless and chic. The best thing about decorating with wallpaper, especially peel and stick, is that you can remove it whenever you want!

Mix and match with different colors and patterns

Although certain colors are more tricky to incorporate in an interior and are harder to match with other tones and patterns, Peachy Plush is a pleasure to decorate with. Together with earthy tones such as sage green, beige, light pink, or terracotta, it will make the perfect color palette for any home.

No matter how you decide to incorporate the vibrant peachy plush color in your interior, it will elevate your space and create a warm, cozy, and inviting atmosphere. Whether it’s an entire room wallpapered with a solid color or a patterned accent wall, you’ll notice the difference instantly. Ready to make a statement?
