Help & FAQs
In order to make sure you order enough wallpaper, we suggest the following few steps to ensure you have the right measurements:
Do not include crown molding and/or baseboard in the length of the wall to avoid ordering unnecessary wallpaper.
Please measure the length of the wall on both sides of each wall since the actual length of the wall might slightly vary. You need to use the longest measurement; this way, you can prevent any gaps between the ceiling and the wallpaper.
Please measure the width of the wall at the top and at the bottom of the wall since the actual width might slightly vary.
Include doors and windows (or any other obstacles) in the measured area.
Step-by-step guide for using our calculator:
Measure the following dimensions of each wall: width and length. We recommend entering the dimensions of each wall and calculating the required number of panels. You can enter imperial units—inches or feet—or metric system units—centimeters.
Find out how many panels you need and how much it will cost.

For peel and stick wallpaper, the calculation is similar to traditional wallpaper. Measure your wall height and width, calculate the total area, and divide it by the coverage area of one roll or panel. Be sure to check the product specifications, as peel and stick panels often come in pre-sized sections.
The number of wallpaper panels you’ll need depends on your wall dimensions and the wallpaper type you select. Our peel and stick panels are 19 inches wide, and non-pasted panels are 30 inches wide. Both types come in lengths of 48, 96, 108, 120, or 144 inches to perfectly fit your wall height. For example, the longest peel and stick panel (19″ × 144″) covers about 19 square feet, while the longest non-pasted panel (30″ × 144″) covers about 30 square feet. The calculator will automatically show how many panels you need based on your wall size and chosen wallpaper type, ensuring a precise fit and accurate pricing every time.
For an accent wall, measure just that single wall’s height and width, then calculate the area. Use those dimensions in the wallpaper calculator, which will tell you how many rolls or panels are needed. Accent walls often require fewer rolls but still benefit from 10% extra for pattern matching and trimming.
